OUR BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY VILLA CASA DAS HERAS is situated in its own private walled garden with electronic gates giving total privacy to guests and is located in Vale de Parra, 3 miles west of Albufeira, Algarve, in a lovely quiet setting only a 5-minute drive to the beautiful sandy beaches at Praia da Gale, Praia da Coelha (Rabbit beach) and the popular beaches of Sao Rafael, Evaristo, Castelo, and Lourenco, some of the best beaches in Portugal.
Casa das Heras can be rented with 3 or 4 bedrooms for parties of up to 6 or 8 guests. Several restaurants including Casa da Avo, Sao Domingos, O’Girassol are within easy walking distance (5 – 10 minutes) and a takeaway food shop is just 5 minutes walk away.

Accommodation at Casa Das Heras
The front hall with guest wc off leads to the huge sitting dining room which measures 30ft x 30ft!, with log burning stove, large dining table, satellite TV with BBC and ITV programmes, music system and two sliding doors to the terrace, pool and garden.
The well fitted kitchen has an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee machine and a six seater dining table. There is a covered BBQ area off the kitchen, and a separate laundry room with washing machine and a second freezer.
On the ground floor is a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and door to the pool and terrace.
There is also a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with a huge walk-in shower and door to terrace with good views.
Stairs lead to the first floor where there is another sitting area with TV and a door to a big roof terrace with lovely views. On this floor are another two twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and doors to the terrace.
The whole of our luxury villa has been superbly furnished and decorated to the highest standard. All bedrooms and the sitting room have air conditioners / heaters making Casa das Heras ideal for both summer and early and late season holidays. Swimming pool towels are provided for guests use.
There is Free Wi-Fi internet, Air Conditioning and maid service 3 days per week (more if you want).
With two bedrooms on the ground floor and garden on the same level makes our villa suitable for the disabled.
Outside
Outside there is a large attractive garden, partly to lawn and the large private swimming pool is 80cm deep at one end and 1.40m at the other end. Pool Heating to 25 degrees is included, which can be increased to 28 – 30 degrees at an extra cost.
There are easy steps and a built-in seat along the shallow end with water around 30 cm deep.
Holidays before 25 May have pool heating to 28 degrees included and guests are provided with a complimentary welcome food pack.
The grounds are very private and spacious with a lawned area by the pool.
We have an outside dining pergola and a great built-in barbecue making alfresco dining a must.
There is also a table tennis under a second pergola to keep the kids (and adults) occupied.
Car parking for several cars is provided.
Locally
Several restaurants including Casa da Avo, Sao Domingos, O’Girassol are within easy walking distance (5 – 10 minutes) and a takeaway food shop is just 5 minutes walk away.
We will also provide you with our “Foodies Guide” which we have compiled over many years experience, which we will sure you will find useful in deciding on which restaurant tonight !
Several top attractions nearby are Zoomarine, a full fun day out especially (but not only) for the kids. Here they can watch or swim with dolphins, water slides, zoological attractions, fairground attractions and lots more. Take a look at the Zoomarine website https://www.zoomarine.pt/pt/

At the nearby Gale Beach, you can walk for miles in the direction of the next resort Armacao de Pera, or call at the Salgados Beach Bar for a drink or lunch.
In less than five minutes drive is the village of Guia where Sir Cliff Richard has his own villa and vineyard. The vineyard can be visited on a tour. Guia boasts over 20 restaurants and is where the world famous chicken piri piri was first made. Try one of the specialist restaurants for this tasty dish.

Local taxis are easily available, including some fun Tuk Tuks.
Golf is available at the nearby Salgados Golf Course, just 5 minutes from our villa.
Discounted Golf and Club Hire
We can arrange a pre-book golf tee times for you at any of the Algarve’s courses at discounted prices, and arrange club hire delivered and collected from your villa.
We can arrange reliable reasonably priced quality car hire at Faro Airport, and private taxi or minibus transfers to the villa.
Rental prices
The prices shown are for use of 3 bedrooms, and the 4th bedroom is available at a supplement of £220 pw. When rented with 3 bedrooms, bedroom 4 is locked and not rented separately.
Our normal change over day is Sunday, but we can consider other days which you can request. We are flexible so please feel free to ask for other days, or even odd duration rentals for 9, 10 or 11 nights, on request. The rental is calculated pro rata for the relevant season.
We get many repeat bookings each year. Casa das Heras is very popular and gets booked up early, so if you like it but your dates are already taken, please look for other available dates, or one of our other villas at www.algarveagency.com.

Algarve
There are several well-stocked supermarkets and a huge selection of good restaurants to choose from. Although close to the Algarve’s most popular resort Albufeira, we find most of our guests only pay the odd visit into Albufeira, preferring the beauty and peace and quiet of the area around our villas, and its fabulous beaches.

Highly recommended villa
“Our second visit to Casa das Heras and was just as impressive as years ago. An excellent equipped villa that is maintained and cleaned to a high standard as is the large heated pool. Set in a large garden surrounded in fencing and electric gates the security and privacy are first class. Wonderful views from roof terrace especially at sun set. Local shop, restaurant and cafe within walking distance but would recommend hiring a car as limited choice. Owners are a pleasure to,deal with and are easy to contact. We look forward to returning soon.”

“We had a lovely relaxing stay in Casa Das Heras. The villa was very well equipped and finished to a very good standard. The pool was used extensively! We also hired cars which enabled us to explore more of the Algarve and the villa was a good base to do this from. We will hopefully be coming back to the Algarve next year…..”

Luxury and well equipped villa
“First impression… how big and beautifully furnished this villa is. Wandering around looking at the lovely bedrooms, each with a luxury en-suite was an exciting experience for all, we couldn’t wait to see what was around the next corner, not being disappointed by anything we saw. The kitchen was well equipped and so spacious. Looking in all the cupboards to find plenty of items you would need, even the cutlery was like you would find in a good class restaurant. There is a laundry room with an easy to use washing machine, also, the pots and pans looked like they were new… even the oven sparkled. We were all very impressed with having the robes and towels for the pool. 7 people in our party, all with their own private spaces and balconies, what more could you ask? The walk in shower downstairs was ooh so nice that, I now want one! With a choice of two BBQ areas one outside and one from the kitchen door that had, lovely views over the side of the villa. The pool is quite a good size to swim in. Having been to this area 22 times and in quite a few villas, I would say this is certainly one of the best we have stayed in. Thank you for ease of booking, being given information each step of the way and their help in making this a wonderful holiday for 7 really satisfied customers. I would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone, who wants a lovely holiday experience that you won’t forget.”

Another wonderful stay in Casa das Heras
“This was our third visit to Casa das Heras and yet again we all had a wonderful holiday. There were three generations staying including an 18 month old and we certainly made use of the pool and surrounding grounds. We particularly like how rural the property is, yet is within a very short distance of the beach, supermarkets and restaurants. And Albufeira is only a 10 minute or so journey away. (We always hire a car as it is essential here). The villa is extremely spacious and everything you need is provided – including a bean to cup coffee machine! The grounds are beautifully kept and very private and the pool is just the right size. The local manager is on hand should you have any problems and is only a phone call or text away; the maids come three times a week; and there is also a man who looks after the general running of the property and grounds (he is really friendly and speaks good English as our Portuguese is woefully lacking). As our family expands I suspect we will have to look for a larger villa in future which is a real shame as this place really is perfect and we would be hard put to find somewhere as nice.”

Fantastic Place to Stay
“We were immediately impressed with the villa, the space and cleanliness was second to none. The pictures on the website are impressive but still don’t do the villa justice. There were eight of us including two younger children and there was ample space for the children to play football and play with Frisbees on the garden, my elder kids made full use of the table tennis and we all loved the pool. The outside dining area was perfect, and had plenty of room for all eight of us. I’m now racking my brain trying to think of how our stay could have been improved and am struggling to come up with anything. The maid, gardener and manager were all very friendly and approachable. We will definitely consider this villa the next time we visit Portugal in the not too distant future.”
